Hello! I have been coding in this industry for almost 4 years and something cool happened.
I was recently featured by the creator of T3 Track & Trace Tools for how I use his system (also the cheapest api in the industry) to automate data flows, internal data entry, all KPI's that are needed from the cost to pack a sock with raw material to selling the product wholesale or retail if you are fully vertical. My calculations have saved a Missouri operator over 5000 hours and worth over $120,000 annually.
Manufacturing and Cultivation Improvements:
- Operational records and Metrc are the same data, so discrepancies surface early.
- Calculations are consistent and inventory value is known in real time.
- Leadership works from current numbers (daily inventory and variance report) instead of sifting through multiple reports.
- Compliance reports are delivered automatically, on schedule. Batches are coded into interactive forms that file the batch form automatically in accordance with how the Compliance Director wants it.
- Custom Forms used in the production processes to save time on hand written data.
- Profit Margin Calculator based on cost per unit, before the item is produced, allowing manufacturing and/or sales to see how low they can sell it at the wholesale level.
- Cost per Gram/Unit for every tag made.
- Bill of Material at every stage of the production process.

I am sharing this for a couple reasons: T3 Track and Trace Tools is more than an API, it is also a web extension that makes METRC useable while also being only $1000/year for 10 seats. I am also able to take on a client or two at this time, who are interested in the level of granularity that I have to offer. The article gets into that a bit.
My LinkedIn is at the bottom of the article if anyone wants to connect. I appreciate your time, I hope to connect and make this industry more efficient one spreadsheet at a time 😉
