Using medical carts for dabs

Got some defective distilate carts and resin/rosin carts too. I was thinking they'd be great for dabs but dont want to waste the distilate and resins when I could just put it in another cart... does anyone have experience with this?

Can you take bigger hits that still taste decent / feel clean or is it just harsh and nasty despite working?
