Most online menus give you maybe "Hybrid, 24% THC" and that's it. So when someone actually wants to know what a strain is like, they leave the menu and go to Leafly, AllBud, Google, or AI, and a lot of them don't come back to finish the order.
I built a small thing that keeps that info on the menu itself. You tap a product and a card opens with what around 39 sources say about that strain, all in one place:
Basically it's the same stuff a curious customer would go hunting for on allbuds or by asking AI, just sitting on the product, one tap away. And it's pulled from what real sources actually report, not an AI making things up.
It's free and it stays free. The info comes from the community so it should be free to the community. I'm not selling anything in this post, I just want to know if it's actually worth having.
Here's a real menu running it so you can see what I mean. It's just a sample, scroll down to the products and tap on the green button that says "Check what sources say about this strain": menu.virtualbudz.com/menu/rec
Honest takes welcome from both sides of the counter. If you shop: would you actually tap this or ignore it, and what would you want on it that's missing? If you run a shop or work the counter: does "what's this strain like" come up enough that having it on the menu would save time or keep people from leaving, and what would make it worth putting on a menu?
