Stacking doses too quickly can cause problems. It is a good idea to give inhaled cannabis around 1 hour to work, and oral cannabis 2 or so hours to work. It takes THC a while to get absorbed and cross the blood brain barrier to have its effect.

Avoiding side effects is the name of the game.
