Advice: is there high turnover in the industry?

Is there high turnover for senior leadership at suppliers/packagers?

Is it common to see a lack of professionalism and structure in the industry?

Is it common for cannabis suppliers to have low visibility online? Little to no LinkedIn presence, little to know website or websites that don’t have much in the ‘about us’ section.

Context:

I’m in Senior Leadership in the alcohol industry. Recently a few cannabis producers/packagers have reached out to discuss bringing me over to help develop their sales force. The conversations seem legit. But I have reservations.

I’ve heard rumors that the cannabis industry has very high turnover but I’m not sure if that’s applicable to all positions. Is this true?

Also, I’ve heard that a lot of companies lack traditional business structure and can lack professionalism.

Is this true at the supplier level?

Both of these companies are multi-state suppliers.

Any advice would be helpful.
