LA/Cali prices lowest?

I keep hearing that the weed business isn't really profitable right now even the black market isn't.. especially in CA due to having so much supply & not enough demand. Would you guys who are more knowledgeable about the business agree? What would you say light deps (nothing super high quality) is currently selling for?

I keep meeting people who are telling me a pound is currently selling around $200-300 max. That's crazy to me. Other people (more black market, didn't pass for dispo) are willing to practically give it away free (or what I believed was the cost of a few grams) just because they don't wanna deal with the headache of already not having super high-quality weed and attempting to sell it? Just wanna get it out of their own hands and not deal with the headache of storing it. Wild
