I was reading about some older Canadian cases and ended up on this Aphria thing. Looks like there’s a CAD 30M settlement for people who held APHA shares back in 2018. It’s about those international deals they did at the time, Nuuvera and LATAM, that later turned out to have way more noise around them than investors were told. When that info came out in March and December 2018 the stock dropped pretty hard and that’s basically what this whole thing stems from.
The settlement is already approved and they’re taking claims until August 26, 2025. It’s only for people who bought the shares after Jan 29, 2018 and still had them on March 23 or Dec 3 of that same year, so it’s kind of a narrow window but I figured some folks here might have been around for the cannabis boom days.
Just thought I’d share it in case it saves someone a bit of digging.
