Hey everyone, I wanted to share a project I’ve been building that directly addresses one of the biggest issues in the cannabis space right now — counterfeit products and lack of transparent verification.
👉 VeriFire.org is a new service that helps cannabis brands, processors, and testing labs authenticate real products and build consumer trust through verifiable, trackable QR codes.
Here’s how it works:
🌿 Each product batch or item gets a unique, serialized QR code.
📄 That QR code links to a dedicated landing page that can display test results, authenticity certificates, product info, PDFs, images, or anything the brand wants to share.
🔍 Every time someone scans the code, it’s logged — so brands can spot abnormal verification patterns that might signal counterfeit activity.
💡 If someone tries to clone or reuse a code, it’ll stand out instantly due to the verification count data on the backend.
This gives cannabis companies a simple, transparent way to prove authenticity, and gives consumers and dispensaries confidence that what they’re buying is legit.
We’ve already got early adopters paying monthly to integrate VeriFire into their packaging and lab workflows — and it’s working beautifully.
If you run a brand, lab, or dispensary, or you’re just curious about tech that can make the cannabis industry more transparent and trustworthy, check it out: 👉 https://verifire.org
Feedback is welcome — I’d love to hear what features or integrations would make something like this even more useful in your day-to-day operations.
