Hi I just wanted to see what your guys feelings are about the cannabis industry specifically in Colorado/Colorado Springs.. all I ever see online is people saying negative things about it.. I’m 27 and don’t really have any solid career paths in my life right now, I’ve been doing a lot of general contracting and gig work for years. In highschool it was basically my only dream in life to work with cannabis and maybe open my own business one day.. I don’t have any real professional experience in this industry but I’ve done a handful of at-home grows that have yielded some general knowledge on the subject. So far I’ve applied to 14 dispensaries in person looking for grow warehouse roles, it’s been a week since I applied and I haven’t got any calls back. I don’t want to budtend at all, I’m really looking to expand on my knowledge as a grower and learn how they operate. I think I want to extract concentrates more than anything else, but that position seems very limited in the springs. I’m willing to make a way for myself with cannabis even if it kills me, I truly want to spend my life dedicated to this plant. Is there anything positive or encouraging you guys have to say about the industry? I know the springs went recreational back in April , is there any hope for the market getting better?
