Is the industry worth it?

So, for lack of better words, I’ve been lost recently and don’t know what I want in life. I’m in the middle of college but not in any classes rn, and not sure I want to go back. Over the summer, I found a love for the process of growing weed, all the science behind it, and essentially anything I could learn about weed. It’s the most interested I’ve been in anything for a long time. The problem is, I live in Texas. So, I would have to move to a much more friendly state, my ideal state would be Colorado, but California would also be great. (Both in terms of opportunity, tho I would love to live in Colorado). I’d want to get into the growing process. I understand I’d be stuck doing bitch work at first, and I’m okay with that, and am completely willing to put in the work. So, for those in the industry who are older and wiser, any advice you can give me?
