Hey folks, been in the game for 6+ years, mainly focused on small-batch, craft flower with local distro partnerships. The 2020-2022 wave was great, but this past year has been rough. Retailers are late on payments, pricing pressure is insane, and buyer turnover is nonstop.
We’re still moving product, but margins are getting squeezed and loyalty is pretty much dead unless you’re giving 60-day net terms or doing consignment. Not trying to complain — just wondering how others are adapting.
Are y’all:
Would love to hear how others are navigating this weird post-boom market. Feels like the people who survive 2025 will be the ones who pivot early and stay lean.
