So, I live in Missouri. Where weed is legal recreational and medically. I live in an apartment complex on the first floor, the lady who complained live two doors down from me on the first floor. I have a medical card prescribed to me because I am Autistic and have severe anxiety. Both qualifying constitutes for a medical card. I had a rough day at work cause I do housekeeping and was the only worker who showed up for the day. So mind you im very sore and would like to relax my muscles with a nice pre roll. Well i always look first to make sure theres no kids playing (I have smoked before when there have been kids out, but I used a smoke buddy so it wont blow their way. i just couldn’t wait because I was so anxious.) anyways I was so tired i didnt even look to see if there were any kids out. Turns out the neighbor was with her kid. She literally yells at me down from her patio “Stop smoking weed in front of my area” and she slammed the door and went inside. That pissed me off, because i wasn’t bothering anybody.
I told my mother about it, and she said F*** her. That she had been rude and that that lady doesn’t own the outside, and that I pay rent and have every right to smoke outside and she can tell her kid to go inside. I kind if agree. My apartment sends out texts all the time about smoking. They say, smoking inside is prohibited smoking OUTSIDE is allowed only. I was outside. Should I tape a note to her door or something?
