question on capital & weedbiz startups...

Not trying to start one right now lol, but I’ve been looking at some of these seed bank operations, like the ones with slick branding, worldwide distribution, maybe even their own strains...and it’s got me wondering: how much capital does it really take to get something like that off the ground?

Like are we talking 5 figures if you bootstrap it? Or are most of these $250K+ up front kind of plays? Just from the looks of some of these bigger names, there’s land, licensing, breeder relationships, packaging, shipping infrastructure, maybe legal/IP costs... and that’s before you even make a sale.

Would love to hear from people who’ve actually started something in the space (or tried to). Even if you're not comfortable sharing exact numbers...

Also, if any big weedbiz owners or seed bank folks are lurking... 👀 How’d you get started? Loans? Friends/family money? Investors?

Really just trying to learn, so all insights welcome ... big or small scale
