What happened to GSC?

Maybe I’m new to this, but for years I haven’t really been able to find GSC strain anywhere, in flower form. And I’m in the Bay Area of all places lol. All these one off cookies strains just aren’t the same as GSC was. I don’t remember hearing of their OG plants getting taken in raids or anything like that. Just odd that so many good strains are hard to find now. I could just try to grow some but I haven’t dabbled in that arena before
