Who is winning without "racing to the bottom"?

A big theme that keeps coming up is the industry’s "race to the bottom" on price.

Question: Has anyone here not slashed prices and still managed to grow (or at least stay healthy)?
What did you lean on? Examples or numbers would be awesome.
