Been curious for a while—how do people land jobs in the cannabis industry if they're not starting their own grow or opening a dispensary?
I'm talking about the regular employees—budtenders, trimmers, marketing folks, compliance officers, lab techs, supply chain workers, etc. How are they getting these roles? Is there a "standard" way in? Are they applying on Indeed like everyone else, or is it more about who you know?
Also curious about what kind of experience companies are looking for. Like, do dispensaries prefer hiring people with previous cannabis experience, or are they cool with someone who's just a passionate consumer and fast learner?
