Looking for Career advice

I’ve hit a wall in my career after eight years of seed to sale experience. I’ve done everything from interning at Cresco’s corporate office in Chicago; to growing, budtending and even making entire state qualification courses on my own as well as teaching them alongside being an instructor at a community college (cannabis related courses).

I moved down to Florida for a few different reasons but a main one being that I wanted to pre position myself in the Florida market before it became recreational. I’m not sure if it’s the Miami area or Florida in general but the industry SUCKS down here. The med program is whack, jobs are far and few with low paying- hourly wages. I’m talking $16/hr for a MANAGER position at some places.

I can’t even find a decent position here beyond a budtender! I don’t even think I’ve seen any corporate gigs pop up even though I know there’s a bunch up in Ft. Lauderdale.

My question is- do you think it’s worth it to hold on here in Florida till something pops for me, or should I be looking in other states?
