That One Time I Got Way Too High at Work...

So, back when I was working at a totally non-weed job, I made the mistake of taking an edible before my shift. I thought, "Eh, it’s just 10mg, I’ll be fine." Spoiler alert: I was not fine.

An hour in, I started sweating like I was on trial, convinced everyone could hear my thoughts. My boss asked me a simple question, and I just stared at him for way too long before saying, “Yes... absolutely... wait, what?”

To make things worse, I had to sit through a team meeting, where I became hyper-aware of every sound—my own breathing, the AC, even the faintest whispers of paper moving. I swear, time slowed down to the point where a five-minute discussion felt like an eternity.

Anyway, I somehow made it through without getting fired, but lesson learned: edibles and work do NOT mix.
